Inauguration of the new graphic simulator at KSU’s office in Oskarshamn
We have inaugurated our new graphic simulator at KSU's office in Oskarshamn. The ceremony began with a speech by project manager Anders Sandell, an instructor at KSU Oskarshamn, followed by OKG's representative Andreas Roos, Production Manager, who had the honour of cutting the ribbon. The event concluded with networking opportunities and engaging discussions to celebrate this important milestone.
The upgraded training platform and stand-alone operator stations open new possibilities for more efficient and flexible training. By combining theory with practical learning in a dynamic environment, we enhance process understanding and improve the quality of education.
The new training concept creates a dynamic learning environment in which theory is more integrated with practical learning in the simulator. With six independent operator stations, more participants can be trained simultaneously in various configurations, ranging from independent laboratory sessions to collaborative training situations.
With complementary visualisation tools, course participants gain a deeper understanding of processes. At the same time, the traditional simulator is relieved, increasing resource utilisation and creating added value internally and externally.
We are proud to have this simulator operational, which was made possible through collaboration and dedication. Strengthening our training programs and ensuring safe, efficient operations in the nuclear power sector is essential, with safety remaining our top priority—now and in the future.
