KSU – Key partner to develop future training for SMR
KSU are one of the key partners to GE Hitachi developing the Global Training Programme for the SMR, BWRX-300 platform.
KSU are currently working with the analysis phase and facilities planning. The next phase will be design & developing of training program. This is a very fruitful cooperation and will benefit to secure competence for new nuclear in Sweden and in the rest of the world.
”KSU have a longstanding assignment in the building and maintenance of competence within the Swedish nuclear industry. A key reason behind the formation of KSU was the ability to deliver training to all Swedish nuclear power plants and act as a competence center. With a growing nuclear energy market KSU see this partnership as a logical step to cater to the extended market.
The expanding European nuclear market comes with expectations on a modern and flexible training delivery. KSU sees increased investments into educational technology to meet these demands. Efforts will also be made to accelerate the training delivery and prevent bottlenecks in the acclimatization to a larger market.
KSU as an organization is very happy to announce this agreement with GE Hitachi and look at this cooperation as something very positive for the expanding nuclear market in Europe, we look forward to a longstanding partnership!”
