The Decommissioning Process

The decommissioning process (new name for the Decommissioning Basic course) – a workshop on the decommissioning of Swedish nuclear power.

The course is aimed at everyone who at some stage will be involved in the decommissioning of a Swedish nuclear power reactor. The course covers different areas at a comprehensive level. The purpose is to give the course participant a general orientation in decommissioning concepts and in the challenges that can occur in the decommissioning area of nuclear power.

• The Swedish system
• The waste process
• Demolition technology and approach
• Demolition challenges
• Logistics

Prior knowledge and course length

The preferred prior knowledge would be experience from the industry or completed e-learning course “Introduction of Main Process”.
The course lasts for two days and is conducted in the form of a workshop.
