When is it suitable to use illustrations and images?
Illustrations and images are good for orientation in a larger context. They allure and capture attention and can highlight or focus on your particular subject. A good image can spark interest and facilitate learning through retention and understanding. Images are useful in touching and activating senses and laying the foundation for pedagogical learning that helps us retain information. Colours in images clarify, create depth and visually enhance “the third language”, layout and typography. Images are also useful for providing examples or for varying information.
Images entertain, increase associations and influence feelings and attitudes. Illustrations, images and photos contribute to good pedagogics.
We create illustrations such as logic, flow and electrical charts, posters, maps, logos and more. Images and graphics for animations, app productions, books, web and presentations – infographics.
