We are the ones who develop SMR training

KSU is currently future-proofing its competence and is working with a reactor supplier to develop a future training program for their SMR. The team is continuously growing as we’re recruiting more people who want to work with SMR Training.

A Global Training Program for the reactor type will be developed for seven different categories or roles. We have started with the Operator Training and since we are in the early stages of the actual plant design we will need to work through the material several times. After the analysis of what is to be trained, comes the design phase where we choose the best methods, i.e how to train, and in combination with how a learning platform should be designed to meet all the criteria required for a modern, flexible and effective training environment. We also look at an instructor system and its tools to maximize the benefit of the simulator.
